Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access and use of all products, services, software, and platforms operated by Skcript Technologies Private Limited, including S1 EDGE and Skcript.com (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using any Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Definitions

• "Skcript" refers to Skcript Technologies Private Limited and its subsidiaries.
• "You" / "Customer" refers to the individual or entity using the Services.
• "Services" refers to all platforms operated by Skcript, including FeatureOS and S1 EDGE.
• "S1 EDGE" refers to Skcript's automation platform for document processing and data extraction.
• "FeatureOS" refers to Skcript's product management platform.
• "Authorized Users" refers to individuals authorized to access the Services under your account.
• "Input Data" refers to content submitted to the Services.
• "Output Data" refers to results generated by the Services.
• "Confidential Information" refers to non-public business, technical, or financial information.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• Be legally able to enter binding contracts.
• Not be prohibited by applicable law from using the Services.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload harmful code, viruses, or malware.
• Reverse-engineer or exploit the Services.
• Circumvent any access controls or security measures.

5. Intellectual Property

Skcript retains all ownership rights in the Services and related intellectual property. You retain ownership of your Input Data. By using the Services, you grant Skcript a limited license to process your Input Data as necessary to provide the Services. Output Data may be used by you in accordance with these Terms.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some Services require paid subscriptions. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You are responsible for all applicable taxes and fees.

7. Product-Specific Terms

FeatureOS

FeatureOS provides feedback boards, roadmaps, changelogs, and knowledge bases. You control your organizational data. Skcript may use anonymized usage data to improve the platform.

S1 EDGE

S1 EDGE automates document analysis and media extraction. You are responsible for ensuring the legality of all uploaded data. Input Data is not used for model training without your explicit written agreement.

8. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to protect the other's Confidential Information with the same degree of care used for its own confidential information. Disclosure is permitted only with written consent or as required by law.

9. Data Security and Privacy

Skcript maintains industry-standard security measures. If you handle personal data through the Services, you must ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws. A separate Data Processing Addendum may apply.

10. Termination

Skcript may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or as required by law. Upon termination, your access to the Services ends immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, and confidentiality survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Skcript makes no warranties regarding accuracy, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

Skcript shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
